The update formerly known as Service Pack 3 for Community Server 2007 was released on September 18. It looks like this fix incorporates a bit more than a traditional service pack, hence the new naming convention, but Telligent still created an easy upgrade path from existing installations running CS 2007.

Okay, it looks like I was able to get everything working on the site in terms of Community Server modules.
I even got the Community-Credit add-on to work, although I'm not sure why the behavior was different with my home system and my publicly hosted one. (A couple of thoughts come to mind, but I'll test them out later.)

After a long bout of troubleshooting, we finally made the determination that the reason why the Community Credit Add-on for CommunityServer.org wouldn't work on any of my installation, is that it is a .NET 2.0 application, and I've been running CS on .NET 1.1.

There's a reason why you shouldn't generally perform website upgrades in the middle of the night, when sleep is calling you.
The good folks over at Telligent surprised me today by releasing Community Server 2.1 just hours after I'd upgraded my corporate site over to v2.1 RC1, thinking they wouldn't get the release version out for a few more days ...
