A Not-Quite-the-First-Post Introduction...
Okay, it might have been better to open this blog with an introduction, but instead I used the first post to rave over some cool videos we watched this weekend.
Ooops. :)
In any event, the purpose of this particular blog is to focus on spiritual and religious issues. I'm going to be posting on a series of topics such as Faith, Prayer, Creation, Worship, etc, as well as discussing various aspects of the ministry my wife and I are conducting at our church, which is Family Life Ministries.
I was supposed to post some information on both Faith and Prayer this very weekend, but I fell behind a little bit because of a week-long Seminar that my wife and I held at our church this past week (Sept 17-23) on the issue of spiritual growth and education for our children.
The theme was: Kids in Discipleship
Lots of work... A bit more than I anticipated, but rewarding nonetheless.
In any event, this is the beginning of what I expect to be a very interesting blog, and sometime tomorrow, I'll also be starting up a corresponding Bible Study mailing list. (We already have a Religious Discussion Mailing List which I will talk about in a subsequent post.)
For now, thanks for joining, and feel free to provide any comments or suggestions as you make use of this site.
Thanks for visiting.
