Mail Server repairs are ongoing

I posted an announcement over the weekend that .  I'm pretty sure that the power supply was all I needed to change, but due to a series of parts failures and upgrades over the past 4 or 5 months across various systems, I'm fresh out of power supplies.

More importantly, the list server is running on the oldest box I have, a P2-400.  The question becomes, do I really want to obtain a new power supply for that machine, when I have a motherboard, a case, and newer, larger drives ready to deploy on a 64-bit capable system?   Hmmm.....

So, I'm busy building the new box, and it should be ready to roll by Wednesday.  (Last night's burn-in was fine.)

I've had a lot of interesting email issues since September or October -- even more if I go back to the May/June timeframe when I brought Exchange 2007 online.   It's not like I can complain, though.  All of these interesting experiences provide valuable learning opportunities.   I just need to schedule them to occur entirely on weekends, and only for one or two hours at a time.  Smile

Of course...
