LinkedIn Live...

On Tuesday, that was put together by some Northern NJ members of LinkedIn.  It was a pretty decent event, and I got to meet some very nice and interesting people.  It was my first such event, and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to do more of them -- at least once per quarter, if not once per month.

Looking at the event, and the planning associated with it, I now have an another idea for some functionality that would be great for LinkedIn.  This is in addition to ...

It would be extremely convenient if LinkedIn provided functionality similar to for the purpose of facilitating real, live LinkedIn events.  It would make the coordination a whole lot easier, and would lead people in the direction that LinkedIn says it promotes: making contacts with people you know well and have met.

I'm looking forward to cultivating relationships with the folks I met this week, and expanding my horizons.

So far, the results have exceeded my expectations...
