Forrester Research on Blogging Tools
Forrester Research has recently completed a study on Blogging tools, where they rated products such as WordPress, TypePad and CommunityServer.
CommunityServer came away with a decent rating, with the only complaint that the content management and workflow tools are weak. I'd also include the need for better skinning and customization tools, but in fairness, CommunityServer is intended to be more of a platform than a product. (Plus, Telligent recognizes the need for better skinning tools and will be working on that shortly...)
For me, though, it's a very flexible platform based on .NET, and as a result, provides considerable integration with Active Directory, which is great at home and at work.
I've been very happy in the 15+ months since I've started using CommunityServer...
