Camp Meeting with Chaplain Barry C. Black
This past Saturday (July 8th), the family and I had the extreme pleasure of hearing Chaplain Barry C. Black preach at the Allegheny East Conference Camp Meeting which was held in Pennsylvania. It was an incredible event, and Chaplain Black is a powerful speaker.
I took a few pictures, which I really need to post to the photo gallery. I'll probably do it on Monday, because I'll probably be too busy the rest of the week...
My wife and I first heard him last year when we went up to Andrews University for a Family Life Ministries Seminar. More than simply entertaining, he is both captivating and insightful as a speaker. When you look at his life story, you can see someone who was blessed in a special way, but has not allowed those blessings to get to his head or undermine his convictions.
He has a book coming out in August, that I am very interested in reading:
